About Emma

Emma Stoner is a photographer based in Totnes, Devon and working throughout the UK. A love for nature and the environment is central to her work. She takes a collaborative, storytelling approach, connecting with people, looking for natural moments and working with the light.

Prior to her career as a photographer, Emma worked in the photo dept at Greenpeace International (2007-2010).

She has an MA in Photojournalism & Documentary Photography (with Distinction) from UAL. Her major project received an honourable mention in the 17th Julia Margaret Awards, Fine Art category.

As well as producing pictures, Emma founded a people's history photo-archive ‘My Glastonbury Story’ in 2020, chronicling 50 years of stories from Glastonbury Festival.
