Somerset Floods

In 2014 severe floods hit the Somerset Levels, affecting homes & farmland across the region. I was living in Somerset at the time and I documented some of the impacts. This included the evacuation of West Yeo Farm in Moorland. I visited farmer, James Winslade, a few days earlier so the pictures include a before and after as the waters rose and engulfed his home. His cattle were rescued by neighbouring farmers.

Friends of the Earth did a feature on the Somerset Floods using my images and stories and a small selection appeared in the Observer online.
